Crimson and Emerald Chapter 11

Both of them looked in the direction to see Fenris' driver. "Ron you really have to stop having perfect timing." Fenris chuckled a little even if he was still worried about Alexandria.

"The day I stop is the day birds will fly out of my arse singing 'God Bless the Queen'. Did I interrupt your little romp?" Giving a hearty laugh to lighten the mood. Alexandria blushed heavily as Fenris got up off the floor with her.

"Alexandria go with Ron to get your wounds checked please." Fenris said gently as he helped her stand then giving her a kiss on the cheek. "I'll be with you shortly." She nodded and went with Ron, leaving the room.

Ron escorted Alexandria to Kitchen and helping her sit. He started cleaning the scratches on her arm and wrapping in in gauze. His hands went to check her head for any wounds, making her wince. "I think I found the cause for this little baby." Moving her hair to try and clean it up, noticing her worried face. "Fenris will be fine, lass. I've seen him pull out of worse things and that's sayin' alot. Just give him time."

Alexandria calmed a little but then nervously asked. "Are you a vampire?"

Ron laughed "Nah lass, I'm as mortal as the Queen is wrinkled."

"Then how did you come to know him?" Asking more questions of Ron.

"Well lass, I met our good sir of the night about twenty years ago when I was down here in Italy. Saved my life he did and ever since I've become his driver and doc. Probably the closest thing he's had to a best friend." Looking at her with a mischievous grin and a glint in his eye. "Now it seems he'll have more. He's quite the lucky man."

Alexandria blushed when he said that and didn't respond.

"You should be fine, I took care of the worst. Just got a little bruised up." Finishing up cleaning the cut on her scalp. "Want to hear a funny story involving our gentleman?"

"She doesn't need to hear anything about me, especially coming from you Ron." Fenris said with a slight chuckle standing at the door, shirtless. He then walked into the kitchen and hopped up on the counter.

"Awh and I was so looking forward to telling her about your run in with the pope. Alas I will say it when you aren't around." Trying to clean up Fenris' wound as his hand kind of went into the vampires chest. "Jesus, I really did a number on you." Fenris' chest throbbed causing him to wince when Ron said Jesus.

"Ron, this isn't a way to get to a man's heart." Fenris said with a chuckle even though he was in pain.

Ron sniffed acting all sad. "Sir, you are breaking my heart." Then they heard a loud, sweet laugh that Alexandria couldn't hold back. "Well it seems someone finds me funny, maybe I'll just snatch her from you. What do you say lass?" Finishing up what he could with Fenris' chest wound, knowing it would take time more than anything. Fenris jumped off the counter when Ron was finished.

"Sorry Ron, but that beautiful Rose is mine, you'll have to pick your flower somewhere else." Fenris said with a slight chuckle as he walked over to his giggling Alexandria.

"Awh, too bad. It seems my love life has been thwarted yet again." Ron grabbed at his heart then chuckled as he headed for the door. "Anyway, I'll leave you two love birds alone. If you need anything just come get me."

After he left, Alexandria's laugh turned into a giggle. She blushed when she heard Fenris call her his rose "He's quite funny."

"He has his moments." Fenris said with a chuckle, then looked at Alexandria again. Fenris reached down touching the bandages on her arm. "Are you sure you're alright?" He asked her, a look of concern filling his eyes.

"I'll be fine, love. I'm more worried about you.." Alexandria hugged him tightly. Thinking to herself, I have faced worse with my father. But she didn't dare say that out loud. Fenris grunted slightly when Alexandria bear hugged him, but smiled slightly reaching up and hugging her back.

"Rose, I may be immortal but the wound still hurts. Would you mind loosening your grip on me a little?" He asked with a chuckle. Letting her grip loosen but kept hugging him.

"I was afraid I'd lose my wolf..if I let go." Alexandria blushed more when he called her 'Rose' again but it was hidden from his sight.

"What did you call me?" Fenris asked with a curious smile, looking down at Alexandria. Alexandria looked at him showing her red cheeks

"My Wolf."

Fenris smiled leaning down and kissing Alexandria. When he broke the kiss he rested his forehead against hers. "Fine, you are my Rose, and I am your Wolf." He said still smiling.

She smiled back as she met his kiss with just as much love. "I very much like the sound of that." Alexandria kissed him again.

After a brief moment Fenris raised a brow. "Why Wolf?" He asked her.

"Well.." Alexandria blushed for some reason. "you remind me of a lone wolf. Solitary, emitting strength and power but when it comes down to it, when you find a pack to protect you fight for them. Once someone gains your trust you are loyal to the end. Also it's your name and looks. White wild hair and piercing eyes. Fenris is another way spelling of Fenrir, the wolf of Norse Mythology."

"I see...I find that slightly ironic." Fenris said with a small laugh, kissing Alexandria on the forehead.

Giving him a puzzled look. "Why is it ironic?"

"Because my last name means, moonlight." Fenris said with a smile, staring into Alexandria's emerald green eyes.

"Really? That is so pretty!" Alexandria gave him a fascinated smile, then blushed harder with the way he was looking into her eyes.  Fenris chuckled slightly breaking his gaze with Alexandria's eyes then looked at her dress, its was torn and covered in blood.

"We need to get you some new clothes, I doubt your maid would want to see you come home like this." He said looking up at her again. Alexandria never even noticed the condition of her dress.

"I probably should. Do you have anything I could wear just for a little bit."

"Of course, come with me my sweet Rose." Fenris said with a wink, taking Alexandria's hand and talking her upstairs to his room.
